Dear Friends in Christ, a St. John Berchmans School 6th grade father, Felipe Caraballo, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer in his throat and mouth, and simultaneously let go from employment. There is a GoFundMe page set up to assist the family with any medical and living costs in these tough times. Felipe is currently at the hospital receiving chemotherapy treatments and unable to see his family. We are also requesting gift cards to assist the family in lieu of the Take Them A Meal program due to COVID concerns. Gift cards can be delivered to the school office with a note that they are for the Caraballo family. The family will be very appreciative of any help you can provide. Thank you!

Dear SJB Parishioners and School Families,
Our SJB Renew My Church Committee continues to work with the Archdiocese and our group parishes to develop a plan. It was most certainly not our intent, but we apologize if the survey gave some the impression that a decision has already been made. Instead of fostering conversation, it gave the false expectation in anticipation of a decision that has not yet been made. We apologize for this confusion. We expect to have further information about group direction at the end of February or in early March. In the meantime, we welcome your questions.

An Act of Spiritual Communion
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Please Consider Signing up Today
Dear Fellow Parishioners,
We know this is a difficult and uneasy time for many, but we depend on our parishioners to help us continue our mission through Christ. We will always continue to bring you Jesus, through St. John Berchmans, in any way we can. This new mission is more difficult than ever because we cannot see or feel each other, but we are here, and we are here for you. We, now, more than ever, need you to be there for St. John Berchmans.
The people of St. John Berchmans Church are the ones who make up nearly 95% of all revenue through the weekend mass collections… but what if there is no mass? We are currently receiving a little more than 50% through Give Central and could not be more grateful, but it is now more important than ever for ALL of our parishioners be giving to the Sunday collection through Give Central.
If you haven’t already, please sign up for online giving with Give Central here.
To make things even simpler, text SUNDAY to 847-865-9223 you will be brought directly to Give Central on your phone.
Please sign up now, we need you!
